POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Old Cwmbran on Saturday.
A burglar entered a house in Bentnor Road without force between 2pm and 3.30pm on April 19.
A number of Nintendo games and items of jewellery were stolen.
Among the stolen jewellery was a gold Eygtian-style Nefertti necklace and an Egyptian bracelet with two gold bands and the Ankh symbol between the bands.
A bag of crystals was also taken.
A male was seen acting suspiciously in the area.
He is described as white, aged between 17 and 19 and between 5' 8" and 5' 10" tall with dark hair. He was wearing a dark scarf.
Crime and Disorder Reduction Officer for Cwmbran, Darrell Dewar, has asked residents to keep their homes secure.
