The best selling girl group of 21st century, the Sugababes, brought their Change tour to Wales on Wednesday evening and those who attended Cardiff CIA were not disappointed.

First off though, the evening opened with support act Van Tramp. Two fifths of the band only managed to make the show, but won the hearts of most of the female audience with a superb acoustic set reminiscent of Bon Jovi.

Then, around 8.50pm the Sugababes arrived on stage. After attending their Greatest Hits tour last year, I was left slightly disappointed as their show back then hadn't seemed to flow very well and the girls seemed tired and going through the motions as they performed their hits.

The Sugababes approach was very different this time however, and any reservations I had were firmly displaced within the first moments of them appearing on stage.

Backed by a strong five piece band and three look alike dancers, Keisha, Heidi and Amelle were able to use their vocal talents to full effect throughout the show. The performance was seamless , especially as the girls did numerous costume changes, (with the aid of the dancers) throughout the performance.

Kicking off with the number one hits Hole In The Head and Round Round the Sugababes went on to perform prime cuts from their new album Change including Never Gonna Dance, Denial and 3 Spoons of Suga as well as a truly outstanding cover of En Vogue's Don't Let Go.

The Sugababes seemed to enjoy their performance much more this time around and this allowed for more interaction with the audience who in turn, lapped the atmosphere up.

Finishing on their recent hit, About You Now, I left the CIA a very happy Sugababes fan, feeling I'd finally got the perfect concert I'd waited seven years for! Thanks girls!
