AN 83-YEAR-OLD woman has appeared in court to face six charges of breaching an anti-social behaviour order.
The order was made in respect of the behaviour of Dorothy Evans towards her neighbour, Angela Casa, and her daughter Gabrielle.
Evans of Park Crescent, Abergavenny, appeared in court sitting in a wheelchair.
Harry Baker defending said the defendant was not fit to be in court and asked for an adjournment for her to see a doctor.
He said she had recently undergone an eye operation and he wanted it to be considered whether she was fit to be tried.
Philip Morris prosecuting said he wished to have two more breaches of the Asbo to be added to the indictment.
Judge John Curran adjourned the case until May 15 for Evans to appear at Newport Crown court to plead to the charges and if there was to be a trial, he said that would take place on July 30.
Evans was granted bail with a condition not to contact directly or indirectly Mrs Casa and her daughter.
