FLORAL tributes have been laid for 21 year-old Benjamin Simmonds who died after a collision in Cwmbran on Sunday April 20.
Benjamin David Simmonds, from Cwmbran, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital after a Fiat Bravo was involved in a collision in Thornhill Road, near the junction with Hafren Road, at about 12.45am.
Mr Simmonds was transferred to the University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff.
A number of tributes have been made to Mr Simmonds at the tragic scene.
One reads: "Forever in our thoughts. Gonna miss u mate."
Another reads "Ben, never forgotten and always in our hearts."
Mr Simmond's nan and grandad had also laid flowers in his memory, with a note that read: "To Ben, Thinking of you, with love Nathan Constable, Nan and Grandad and Emma xxx."
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision to call 01633 643091.
