THE parents of a missing Caldicot golfer made a TV appeal for information on his whereabouts.
James Nutley went missing in Tenby during a golfing trip with friends on October 24, 2004.
The man disappeared around midnight after leaving a pub to return to his hotel.
Mum and dad Catherine and Jeff Nutley have continued to appeal for his return, and appeared on BBC TV's Missing Live.
Viewers were asked to call a free confidential helpline, run by charity Missing People, if they had any information leading to the location of James.
Catherine Nutley said she was very pleased with the programme.
"They came to do the filming in November," she said. "They spent four days with us, his friends and the police in Tenby.
"It was very well researched."
She said Missing People, formerly the National Missing Persons Helpline, would pass any leads to the police.
"We've been in contact with them for a while," said Mrs Nutley.
"To get them involved you have to send them a letter. If they find James they will pass the letter on to him."
The family hopes the show will raise awareness of the case.
"Outside of Gwent and West Wales not many people know about James.
"Around three million people watch the show - so hopefully at least one of them may have been there."
Mr and Mrs Nutley are to continue their fight to search for James - and may look into using social networking sites and email campaigns.
In March missing James had a race named after him at Chepstow race course.
The race raised £3,000 for charity Missing Wales.
