There was fun for adults and children alike when J V Like customers took part in a Spring driving event in the magnificent grounds of Margam Country Park in Neath, Port Talbot at the weekend.
Selected guests were invited by the dealership to drive the entire Renault range around the grounds, before enjoying free access to the parks facilities which included the narrow gauge railway, farm trail and pets corner and the Victorian Mansion House.
Children were also kept entertained during the family day out with a story-telling corner called Tales from the Glovebox, and the opportunity to have their pictures taken with a replica of the ING Renault F1 Teams Formula One racecar. Wendy Hartnell and her partner Stuart Bennett, both from Risca, Newport, were among the guests invited to the event by J V Like.
Wendy said: We enjoyed the event so much we decided to go on both days. On the Saturday we drove the Renault Scénic and Laguna Sport Tourer and on Sunday we both wanted to drive the Twingo. The event was extremely well organised and we certainly plan to attend next year.
Chris Duthie, General Manager from J V Like, said: The Ride and Drive event has been a huge success and proved to be a great day out for the whole family. Visitors really enjoyed being able to test drive the Renault range in the relaxed and spacious surroundings of Margam Country Park, especially as we managed to avoid any April showers.
