The Usk and District Friends of Cancer Research Cymru are holding a Musical Evening on Wednesday May 7 at the British Legion Club in Newmarket Street. The evening will feature local entertainer Bobby Ryan and will start at 7.30pm.

On Tuesday June 10, the Friends will be holding their popular Annual Charity Golf Day at Alice Springs Golf Club. Teams of four are invited to come along to enjoy a good day's golf and support the charity. Entry is £120 per team, to include coffee, golf, lunch and prizes, and golf buggies are available at the discount price of £12 by kind permission of the Club management. Tee-times are available from 10am. Entry forms can be obtained from Dorothy on 01291 673922.
