A MAN was arrested after an suspected burglary at a Monmouth bank.
The alarms went off at Abbey National in Agincourt Square, Monmouth at 3.20am yesterday.
Police attended the scene and arrested a 35-year-old local man on suspicion of burglary.
There were signs of attempts to force entry to the bank's main door, but the investigation is ongoing as to whether anything was taken.
