What to expect from the yellow weather warning in South Wales
The Met Office said the yellow weather warning for south Wales is due to heavy rain which could result in flooding and disruptions.
As a result of the heavy rain, the Met Office said to expect:
- Disruptions to bus and train services
- Spray and flooding on roads affecting travel
- Flooding of homes and businesses
A Met Office spokesperson added: "Scattered showers will become more frequent and increasingly organised into a longer spell of rain through Tuesday evening before gradually clearing eastward during Wednesday morning.
"15-25 mm of rain is expected fairly widely, but there is a chance that 50-60 mm could fall in a few places; these higher accumulations more likely along Bristol Channel and English Channel coasts."
