A MAN has been sentenced after he was caught with child abuse photos.
Samuel Williams, 24, from Cwmbran was made the subject of a two-year community order at Newport Magistrates' Court.
He pleaded guilty to making three category B indecent photographs of a child and possessing two category B indecent photographs of a child
The offences took place between March 20, 2021 and April 21, 2022
Williams, of Henllys Way, St Dials will have to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work.
He will have to complete 38 sessions of an accredited programme and complete a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement.

The defendant must register as a sex offender for the next five years and was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order until 2028.
Williams has to pay a £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
