A WOMAN was lucky not be jailed after she was caught nearly four times the drink-drive limit.
Jayne Jones, 51, of St Faith's Close, Llanfoist, near Abergavenny pleaded guilty to drink driving with 138 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
Jones committed the offence on St Faith's Close on October 19, Newport Magistrates' Court was told.
She was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison but that sentence was suspended for 12 months.

The defendant was made the subject of a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement and a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement.
Jones was banned from driving for three years and has to pay a £154 surcharge and £85 costs.
