A LITTER picking trolley helped volunteers from Keep Abergavenny Tidy on their most recent litter pick.
Eleven volunteers from Keep Abergavenny Tidy (KAT) attended the December community litter pick which was held on Saturday, December 9 - rather than the usual first Tuesday of the month, as usual.
The team met at St John’s Square in Abergavenny and collected at least 13 orange bags and two purple bags for recycling or safe disposal.
A spokesman for the group said: “Monmouthshire County Council has donated a litter picking trolley which turned out to be very useful.
“It’s much easier to push heavy bags of litter using the trolley.”
Keep Abergavenny Tidy (KAT) is a group of volunteers who want to help keep the town clean and carry out regular litter picks.
