NOW you can read all the local news and sport, plus puzzles and more on the South Wales Argus app - completely free of adverts.
We know that not everyone likes adverts and some times they can be a bit intrusive on your reading experience.
But producing local news for Newport and wider Gwent doesn't come free. We're a business and have to pay our staff, after all.
That's why we introduced a way that you can keep up with all the local news, without any adverts at all. All you have to do is subscribe to the Argus and then download the app. It's available for Apple and Android phones.
You can read all the latest news, keep up to date with Newport County and Dragons RFC, the new pubs, bars and places to eat, plus you get more puzzles, you can bookmark stories to read later, listen to audio version of articles and read the Argus as it appears in print. You can even read Voice magazine each month too.
It costs just £1 for the first three months and just £1.99 a month thereafter. You'll also get our subscriber newsletter and be a part of our community.
If that's not for you, that's no problem. You can still read some of what we publish on the Argus online for free, thanks to the support of our advertisers, but you won't have access to everything unless you are a subscriber.
