As one of our valued subscribers we’re giving you the opportunity to ask me - the editor - anything you like. It could about a local issue, our news coverage, how we make decisions or what makes the newsroom tick.
We're asking our subscribers to send us your questions, then we'll compile them into a big list that I will answer in an article.
The Argus has been reporting on Gwent for 132 years. We've always been part of the community, but the nature of what we do has changed in that time.
Being the editor used to mean deciding what we would tell readers in print - and it is still a part of the job - but now journalism can and should be a two-way conversation.
We want you to be involved before, during and after everything we do.
The editor's job is also a truly multimedia role - we can communicate with you across all our channels: print, website, in person at events, social media and video.
All this allows you to get even closer to the stories - and means we can update you around the clock.
So now all you need to do is decide what you want to ask - it can be anything you like, whether it is about the stories we cover, our role in our community or ways we can serve you better.
Simply click here and complete the form to submit your question. To submit your question, you will need to provide your full name, email address and the area or town in which you live.
After pressing the submit button, you must ensure you complete the reCAPTCHA form that pops up at the top of the page.
For questions to qualify, you must be a digital subscriber, you must use the same email address associated with your digital subscription, and questions must be submitted by midnight on Sunday, March 24, 2024.
Look out for my answers to your questions to be shared in a future article, and thank you so much for your continued support.
Comments: Our rules
We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues. The ability to comment on our stories is a privilege, not a right, however, and that privilege may be withdrawn if it is abused or misused.
Please report any comments that break our rules.
