A QUANTITY of drugs was seized during a warrant in Blackwood on Tuesday morning.

Officers from Gwent Police's Caerphilly neighbourhood policing team carried out warrants at two addresses in Blackwood.

During the search, the officers seized a quantity of class C drugs, along with mobile phones and drug paraphernalia.

Inspector Andrew Gibbs said: "We're proactively targeting individuals supplying illegal drugs in our communities.

"Our neighbourhood and enforcement officers continue to act on any information provided by the public by planning warrants such as this morning's.

"While our investigation continues, I'd ask that you come forward with any information you may have, no matter how small you think it may be.

"We listen and will actively follow up through enforcement tactics to ensure we protect our communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugs."
