A TORFAEN man has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after a stop and search.
The 39-year-old man was arrested after he was found to have over 100 wraps containing class A drugs.
Officers from Gwent Police's organised crime unit searched his car on Malpas Road.
The officers found and seized around £2,500 in cash, class A drugs and mobile phones.
A search of his address in Llantarnam was then carried out where the over 100 warps containing class A drugs were found.
In a post on social media, Gwent Police said:
"We arrested the 39-year-old on suspicion of possession of class A drugs and he remains in police custody at this time."
