OFFICERS from Gwent Police's road policing team have stopped a vehicle that was being driven dangerously.
Following a lengthy pursuit, the officers were able to safely stop the vehicle that had false number plates.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving and was found to be wanted by the courts for a separate burglary offence, which he was also arrested for.
Officers remanded the driver to prison.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: "Another criminal off our roads thanks to our roads policing team
"Following a pursuit, officers were able to safely stop this vehicle which was being driven on false plates.
"They arrested the driver for burglary and dangerous driving, they were also wanted by the courts for a separate burglary offence
"The driver was remanded to prison
"Great work from the team."
