As temperatures get colder, many families will be looking for indoor places to entertain their kids.
So the team at OLBG looked at the 50 most populated towns and cities in the UK, as well as Google and Yelp ratings, to find out where had the best amusement arcades - and which didn't.
Newport came 16th on the list of the top 20 lowest-rated UK arcade towns
Portsmouth was at the bottom of the list. With a ranking of 3.60, Portsmouth has the lowest score of all the top 50 populated cities and towns in the UK.
Second lowest-rated was Dundee and Warrington which both had a total of 3.66.
Newport's score was 4.13.
Steve Madgwick, of OLBG.com, said: “Brits love to play arcade games, and plenty of loose change has been spent in these establishments over the years.
"Millions of visits are recorded each year and around £850m is believed to contribute to the UK’s annual turnover both at the coast and in the cities Amusement arcades are a great form of entertainment.
“Newcastle-upon-Tyne is at the top of our list scoring 4.64/5 based on impressive Google and Yelp listings. NQ64 helped the city rise to the top of the listings, and is no surprise as the establishment offers interactive, retro games and cocktails; there is fun for all the family."
