The auction in aid of the welsh junior sea shore team for their match in Ireland was a great success with over 200 lots. The proceeds from the auction came to a little over £1500. Joe Crowerly was delighted with results and would like to thank everyone who donated items and all the supporters who gave their time.

The venue was Marcross. Jim Esherwood took the honors with 1 rockling and two congers 6 .85kg, 2nd Robert Evans 1 conger, 1 pouting 6.09 kg, 3rd Gerald John 1 dog fish, 2 cod 5.90kg, best junior Zak Williams 1 conger 1.00kg. Next match is Stackpole Pembrokeshire, 3 pm to midnight. Book in at the Bassaleg and Rogerstone social club by 12 noon.
Newport & District SAA
Next match is on Sunday 8 th April at the Severn Bridge 0845am to 12 15 midday. 12.5 mt tide hw at 10.25 am.
