Morgan’s pond is picking up with good Bream to 5¾ lb, Tench to 6 lb and good roach best bait has been maggot.
Cefn Mably Lakes
kevin Geech of Cardiff won the match with 32.4 pounds,2nd Mike Eryers
with 30.9 lbs ,and 3rd Rob Whiltshire with 28.9 lbs. The next open match is on Sunday 8 th April, draw 9.15 am
Dyffryn Springs
Fishing is still excellent. Mike Copeland of Barry had a superb brace of perch weighing 3.4 and 4.2lb from the Reservoir on red maggot and John Walker of Newport had commons to 16 lb on hemp.
Seven Oaks
Ryan Thomas netted 14 carp to 10 lb plus a mixed bag. Chris Meredith, Blackwood 21 carp, perch to 3½ lb and bream to 3 lb. Jeff Williams 8 carp to 13½ lb. Dog biscuits, sweet corn are the favored bait.
