PUPILS in Ebbw Vale gave a strong - and unique - anti-drinking message this week.
An after school art class at Glyncoed Comprehensive was asked by police officers to come up with a slogan against young people drinking.
The winning phrase - "Underage drinking is getting out of hand" by 13-year-old Mair Sadler, was spelt out on Glyncoed Comprehensive School's playing field in cans and bottles.
The items had been confiscated by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team from under 18s in the last couple of months in the area.
The idea of the initiative was to promote the dangers of underage drinking and dangers of alcohol abuse.
