A GWENT man was arrested after another man's body was found in a flat in Monmouth town centre.
The death of the 25-year-old man is currently being treated as "unexplained" by Gwent Police.
Officers were called in by paramedics to a flat in Whitecross Street, a quiet residential area just off the town centre, at around 3.50am on Thursday, October 9.
The 25-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and police are still investigating the cause of his death.
A 32-year-old local man was later arrested in connection with his death and was last night helping police with their enquiries.
