FOR the families of those four teenage girls killed in that awful crash in Garnlydan in 2006 the hurt just never seems to end.

The deaths of Louise Jones, Kayleigh Parry, Katie Roberts and Danielle Caswell were bad enough.

Now the families have learned that four areas where they had created memorials and have grieved for the last two years are not the exact spots where their girls died.

And this was discovered in a document they had to pay £1,300 for.

It’s little wonder they are now raising concerns about the Dyfed-Powys police investigation.

It is hard to imagine discovering that the area you believed was where you had lost a loved one is in fact wrong.

It is also important the outcome of the Independent Police Complaints Commission inquiry into Dyfed-Powys is made public.

The families claim that on the night the accident happened their distress was made worse by what they see as inadequacies in the police force's handling of the whole incident.

They also argue that there were inconsistencies in the court case and are hoping a retrial will result.

Let’s hope this matter is dealt with swiftly and thoroughly.

Because there is a limit to how much suffering these families can take and it is quite clear they have already endured enough.
