A GWENT man and woman were arrested for theft after police uncovered a large number of stolen items at a house in Tredegar.
The pair, who are both from the Tredegar area, are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
Although the stolen items were recovered from an address in Tredegar, police believe they could have been taken from vehicles from other areas including Newport and Blackwood.
The items, which include satellite navigation systems and a large number of power tools and car stereos are currently being stored at Tredegar police station and local officers are asking recent victims of burglary and theft from vehicles to come forward and claim their belongings.
Anyone wishing to do so should call Tredegar Station on 01495 232445.
