Wales air ambulance are appealing to Abergavenny residents to help make a difference by becoming volunteers.
The charity are looking for anyone who can donate time to assist the life-saving service through helping in their charity shop at 13 Frogmore Street in Abergavenny.
The service, funded by the generosity of the people of Wales, provide rapid paramedic response through their three air ambulances in the skies over the Principality.
Since their launch in March 2001, the heroes of the skies have carried out nearly 9,000 missions from bases in Swansea, Caernarfon and Welshpool.
“We need to raise £4 million each year to continue this work and every little helps,” says a spokeswoman for the organisation.
“If you have a morning or an afternoon free, we should be very grateful if you were willing to give your time to support our charity.”
