Chepstow Library’s summer reading scheme was a great success with 124 children completing this year’s national reading challenge.
The theme for this year was ‘Team Read’ and children were set the task of reading six books through the summer holidays. At the start they were given a sports themed sticker chart and as they progressed they gained bronze, silver and gold medal stickers to add to it.
Upon completion they were awarded several small prizes and a certificate to mark their achievement.
