Pandy Singing Festival: Choir rehearsals are going well for the Festival which will be held at St Michael’s church Llanfihangel Crucorney next Sunday evening, October 19, at 8pm. The soloist is soprano Elizabeth Tiley. Admission is by programme which costs £1 and refreshments are provided as ever. Proceeds of the festival will go to the work of Abergavenny Teen Challenge.

Quiz Night: The popular Quiz Night returns to Cwmyoy Hall on Saturday October 25 at 7.30pm. There are teams of up to 4 people and entry costs £5 per person There will be prizes for the winning and runner-up teams, Refreshments are available but you are welcome to bring your own food and drink too. It is advisable to book early with Jim Keates on 01873/890843 as there will be a limited number of tables.

Mamma Mia: In the first in a series of films at Cwmyoy Hall the smash hit ‘Mamma Mia‘ will be shown on Thursday October 30. Admission is £4 adults, U16s £2 and refreshments will be available. As the number of seats is limited entry will be on a first come first admitted basis. This will be the first in a series of films at Cwmyoy Hall.
