A convoy of unusual vehicles used by Welsh businesses visited Newport.
Among the vehicles on show was a van shaped like a loaf of bread, a record-breaking “Skipcar” which can go from 0 to 60mph in 5.3 seconds and Scooby Doo’s “ Mystery Machine” from Newport-based The Limo People.
The convoy was touring to raise awareness of the upcoming Chambers of Commerce Business Week Exhibition, which is taking place on Thursday (OCT 23) at the Wales National Velodrome in Newport.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to view the latest products and services on offer from local businesses.
A charity triathlon entered by teams from local businesses will also take place to raise money for the St David’s Foundation and entrepreneurs will be presenting their ideas to a panel in a bid to be crowned South Wales Business Idol.
Patrick Long, head of Newport and Gwent Chamber of Commerce, said: “The car convoy is a procession of some of the most innovative promotional vehicles, which have been used to great affect by Welsh businesses.”
