A man arrested on suspicion of murdering a company director is being held for a second night by police.
Kingsley Monk died and three others were seriously injured following an incident at Driverline 247 New Inn, Pontypool, yesterday.
Family and friends of the 45-year-old from Oakdale, were struggling to come to terms with the "devastating’’ loss today.
Two of the three men injured in the incident have since been released from hospital, the third remains in a stable condition.
Police are holding a 52-year-old Cardiff man on suspicion of murder for the second night following his arrest yesterday in Newport.
He is also being held on suspicion of attempted murder and false imprisonment.
Gwent Police have refused to comment on reports the death was part of a robbery, that a gun was used in the incident at the four people involved were held hostage.
