STUDENTS at Newport University's accountancy school have achieved top marks in this years exams.
Sharon Dixon's achieved first place in Wales and 32nd in the world in her Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exams.
She won the £1000 ACCA Sir Julian Hodge prize.
Meanwhile Maria Dillon received a letter of commendation from the Chartered Institute of Marketing Accountants for her high score of 87 per cent.
Her tutor Ian Janes is also celebrating after becoming a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in recognition of his skills in empowering learners.
