THE family of New Inn murder victim today issued a tribute to a “loving” and “kind” man.

Kingsley Monk, 45 from Maesygarn Road, Oakdale, died at the scene of an incident at driver recruitment agency Driverline 247, in New Road, after being fatally injured.

Mr Monk and three others were held for several hours before emergency services were called.

Kingsley was a wonderful and caring husband and a loving father who thought the world of his two boys Rhys and Matthew whom he idolised.

He was the sort of son any parent would be proud to have.

During 1997 Kingsley was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Following his experience he was able to give support to others going through the same terrible illness.

He was a kind and considerate person who always thought of others, and was involved in charity events with Bargoed Golf Club and donations to B6 North at the Royal Gwent Hospital.

Kingsley loved his golf and had many true friends at Bargoed and Newport clubs.

Kingsley worked hard at everything he did and was a perfectionist. He felt privileged and made his working environment an extended family environment where he made great friends.

He has left a void that cannot be filled and he will be missed by all who knew him - taken tragically and violently far too soon.

You will never be forgotten.

Love Debs, Rhys, Matthew, Mam and Dad.

A big thank you to everyone for their kind support at this tragic time.
