A NEWPORT man, who previously admitted robbery, pleaded guilty to possessing an imitation firearm with intent.
Steven Gorry, 21, of Bryn Bevan, Brynglas, pleaded guilty to robbery in Newport crown court on October 13, but the case was adjourned as a firearms report was still being carried out.
Gorry and two other men were arrested in connection with the robbery of a 61-year-old taxi driver in Brynglas Court, Newport on Friday, August 1 at around 1.40am. Approximately £28 is alleged to have been stolen during the incident.
Judge David Morris adjourned sentencing until November 21.
