GWENT man Martin Jones killed himself at the old Severn Bridge, Chepstow, a coroner ruled.
Mr Jones, who had a history of low self esteem and alcohol problems, was seen by patrons of nearby pub to fall into the water on July 25 this year, the Gloucester inquest heard.
Gloucestershire coroner Alan Crickmore recorded a verdict of suicide on Mr Jones, also known as Rhys Jones, 63, late of Kemeys Inferior, Newport.
