FUNDRAISERS spent an evening rocking and rolling with “The King” in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity.
Around 180 people packed out Maindee Fire Station for an evening of entertainment, courtesy of an Elvis impersonator, in aid of the charity on Friday evening.
Martin Ellacott, blue watch crew manager at the station, said: “It was a very successful night. We raised around £600. Everyone really enjoyed the night and it was one of the best ones we’ve ever had.”
The Fire Fighters Charity provides treatment and support services for firefighters across the country, who put their lives on the line every day.
