A SPECIAL floral arrangement went on display in memory of four Gwent men who were killed when their car left the road and landed in a reen.
The display was on show at a flower festival at Bethany Baptist Church in the men's home town of Risca.
And more than 1,000 people went to Newport Floral Society's annual festival at the weekend.
One particular piece was made by Margaret Shaw-Hamilton in memory of the four friends Scott Harding, 25, his brother, Warren, 27, Andrew Brooks, 30, and Geraint Hill, 26, who were found dead in a partially submerged car at St Brides on June 12.
She said: "I had known Geraint since he was a little boy and my family knew the others as well. Everyone in Risca was so sad about the tragedy and I felt it was a tribute we should pay."
The tribute also commemorated the life of Ceri-Ann Faulkner, the Oakdale teenager who last week died after a short illness.
Mrs Shaw-Hamilton said: "Ceri-Ann went to the college where my husband worked and we wanted to remember her. Everyone appreciated the tribute."
The theme of the festival was Celebrating 150 Years of Bethany Baptist Church, and the event was one of many the society takes part in to raise thousands of pounds for charity every year. The society meets on the first Thursday of every month at 2pm in St Julian's Methodist Church, and new members are welcome.
