A TOY company is appealing for Newport schools to sign up for a free games library.
Hasbro, which has had its British distribution centre in the city for nearly 30 years, is offering toy cabinets to 53 city schools.
The cabinets were donated by another Newport company, Bisley Office Equipment, and are filled with a range of new and traditional games to match the age range of the pupils at the schools.
Forty-three Newport schools have already signed up but ten have still to respond to the offer.
Community liaison officer at Hasbro Liz Hancock said: "We are always looking for ways to put something back into the area. The schools we are offering the cabinets to are the schools our staff send their children to."
