Experience the flavour of Roman times as once again gladiators battle it out to the 'death' in Caerleon's amphitheatre...
Pick your favourite fighter and cheer for them as they try to win the contest and maybe even their freedom.
Sample military life throughout the ages; visit a Roman encampment and see soldiers and civilians; take a look at medieval life, watch traditional crafts and see knights arming for battle.
Finally take a tour of a Victorian military encampment and see how the officers and soldiers got ready for battle, and how the doctor stopped the bleeding afterwards!
There's a chance to join the Junior Legion, receive a certificate and march in the amphitheatre; have a go at the children's activities, shop with the Roman trader and glass maker or try a Roman style massage.
Come and see 2,000 years of military history in one place and have an exciting, activity packed day out for all the family.
The military spectacular is on July 9 and 10 with the re-enactment in the amphitheatre between 11am 5pm both days (£4 adults, £2 concessions and £10 family).
