THIS year's Party in the Park was the hottest ever.
Temperatures rose even higher on the scorching Father's Day with acts like Rachel Stevens, Lemar and Mario.
The Red Dragon FM and O2 event at Cooper's Field, Cardiff, was a huge success with 20,000 fans singing, dancing and having a great time.
Headlining was multi-million album seller Daniel Bedingfield, RnB sensation Lemar, Rachel Stevens and Cardiff's sweetheart Charlotte Church.
Miss Church probably had the biggest applause of the day with songs from her new album, including her new single Crazy Chick, going down a storm.
She told the crowd: "I love being back in Cardiff. You are all lush and I love you gorgeous people."
Rachel Stevens took time out to talk to the Argus.
She said: "Today has been absolutely fantastic. The crowd is brilliant, the weather is gorgeous and I love coming to Party in the Park. I would love to come again."
US Pop Idol winner Kelly Clarkson also gave an exceptional performance and wowed the thousands of people - which included Gwent sprinter, Jamie Baulch.
Dads and 80s' music fans reminisced with performances from Bananarama, who re-formed to sing Venus and Robert De Niro's Waiting.
Also performing on the day were Noise Next Door, Rooster, ex-A1 member Ben Adams, X Factor finalist Rowetta and Uniting Nations.
All tickets sold included a charity donation of £1 for Red Dragon FM's Help A South Wales Child.
