Lee Dillon Liberal Democrats AT this General Election the Welsh Liberal Democrats are giving the people of Wales a real alternative with our policies.
Our manifesto builds on the principles of freedom, fairness and trust, principles that will guide us when in government.
Using our guiding principles we would scrap council tax and replace it with a local income tax based on ability to pay.
On health we would introduce free long- term care, and introduce free eye and dental checks.
We would make education a right and not a privilege by scrapping tuition fees and not introducing top-up fees. And we would give the Welsh Assembly the tools to do the job.
We would pay for these polices by having a top rate of 50% income tax on incomes over £100,000 as well as redirecting existing government funding.
As Liberal Democrats we were the only party to consistently vote against the war in Iraq.
We believe that the intelligence was flawed, and that we were led on the basis of lies.
Labour broke their promise on tuition fees plunging students into even more debt.
A vote for the Liberal Democrats at this election is a vote against the illegal war, against the principle of paying for education, and against an unfair council tax system.
A vote for the Liberal Democrats at this election will show you do care about your rights. Vote Liberal Democrat. Vote Dillon
