OZZY Osbourne chose Gwent as his latest holiday break destination.
The rock star and TV icon left the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport yesterday after a relaxing break.
Ozzy is just one of a long line of celebrities who have been at the Celtic Manor.
In the coming weeks film stars, models and sportsmen will all tee off for a celebrity all-star golf tournament.
A 10-strong line-up from America including Samuel L Jackson and Sylvester Stallone will take on a 10-strong Europe team over the August bank holiday.
They will be under the leadership of non-playing captains Colin Montgomerie and Mark O'Meara.
Gracing Newport with their stardom will be US actors Andy Garcia, Haley Osment and Chris O'Donnell and home-grown super stars model Jodie Kidd, former Wimbledon champion Boris Becker, five-times Olympic gold medallist Sir Steve Redgrave, Cold Feet and Murphy's Law actor James Nesbitt. DJ and TV presenter Chris Evans will also be there.
We were unable to chat to the rocker but a spokeswoman from the club confirmed he stayed there.
So Gwent bats, come out of your caves, the Prince of Darkness has gone!
