A GWENT charity is hoping people will love its re-designed wristbands, which now come in a range of colours to suit any occasion or outfit.
Earlier this year St David's Foundation latched on to the fashion trend which swept the nation when they began selling the £1 bands.
Until now they were only available in the original red but now they will have 12 designs for adults and children to choose from in the 'Love It' campaign.
Wristbands began with American cycling star Lance Armstrong, who successfully battled cancer, and his "live strong" bands.
A large number of charities followed suit - including the make poverty history campaign and the anti-racism band supported by many footballers - and they are snapped up, especially by youngsters.
Welsh rugby star Robert Sidoli, Newport West MP Paul Flynn and his wife Sam, and a lookalike Marilyn Monroe have all given their backing to St David's bands.
"They have been a great way for us to raise awareness, we now hope that people will take note of their local charity and support us in other ways," said Kris Broome, of St David's.
Fundraising events for St David's which are taking place this year include a zip slide from Newport Transporter Bridge, Tea at Three and the Dragon Boat Race.
People who want to support the hospice-at-home service could also organise their own events, shop at its charity shops or play the St David's Lottery.
