A NEWPORT father and his two sons are revving up for a motorbike ride to raise money for charity.
Businessman Kevin Bickell, who runs Magic Carpets in Magor, will be riding out with sons Dan and Austin over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The trio will bike from one end of the country to another in an 845-mile-long journey from John O'Groats to Land's End.
They are embarking on the challenge to raise money for the National Kidney Research Fund in Wales.
Kevin said: "John O'Groats to Land's End is the ultimate motorbike journey in the UK and I've always fancied doing it.
"Dan and Austin are also experienced bikers and decided to support me by taking part as well.
"It should be great fun and as it's 845 miles long, we hope to raise at least £845 for kidney research."
Tom Irving, community fundraising manager for the National Kidney Research Fund in Wales, said: "I think what Kevin and the boys are doing is fantastic and should be a great journey.
"I'm sure they will remember it for a very long time."
