WET weather didn't dampen the spirits of the hundreds of cyclists who saddled up to raise money for charity yesterday.
Riders dodged the showers as they took part in the third annual Cancer Research UK South Wales Bike Ride.
The popular family event started from Tredegar House, in Newport, and was sponsored by Red Dragon FM and the South Wales Argus.
Last year the ride raised £16,000 for the charity, but this year organisers hope to notch up around £20,000.
