THIS month's Comedy Shed at Newport's Riverfront Studio Theatre, is host to Ian Cognito with Will Hodgson as his special guest.
They will be performing on Friday, May 27 and tickets cost £10. Ian Cognito, the original and best angry comic, will blaze a furious trail across the country in a national tour next spring leaving scorched, bruised, exhausted audiences in his wake. Starting in Glasgow on March 25, the tour continues until May 27.
Ian Cognito is one of the most influential and challenging comics on the national circuit. He spits vitriol over all who will listen. He is outspoken, outrageous, opinionated, eloquent, exhilarating and effortlessly funny.
Unsurprisingly, you will never have seen Ian on television. Not one single appearance on any programme in any shape or form - a fact he is genuinely pleased about. He doesn't care about TV, being in the movies, awards or agents.
With a refreshing refusal to be censored, all Ian cares about is pure, honest stand up and that is what makes him such a riveting act. Ian will be supported on this tour by 2004 Perrier Newcomer Winner Will Hodgson.
Doors open at 7.45pm and the first act starts at 8.15pm. Call the box office on 01633 656757.
