THERE is still a chance to catch some fantastic performances being staged as part of the 43rd Llantilio Crossenny Festival of Music and Drama.
The festival is to be held at St Teilo's Church and is scoring a major first this year with a performance by Swansea City Opera, who will tonight perform Puccini's La Bohme.
The peformance starts at 8pm. Tickets are priced £18, £16 or £12.50 for adults, or £9, £8 or £6 for children (under 14). All seats can be reserved. Please ring 44 (0)1873 856928.
Tomorrow, Raglan School presents The Selfish Giant, a musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic children's story. Cross Ash School perform In Viking Times, a tongue-in- cheek account of life in Britain in the Viking era, in song interspersed with racy dialogue about Brunhilde, the Rhine maidens, and the Valkyries, with the Valhalla Tango thrown in.The schools matine starts at 3pm.
On Sunday the Llantilio Festival Orchestra, led by Rolf Wilson and conducted by Charles Farncombe, performs a concert starting at 3pm. Ticket prices are £16 or £12.50 for adults and £8 or £6 for children (under 14). All seats can be reserved. Please ring 44 (0)1873 856928.
