Saeid Arjomand - Independent. POWER of unity in diversity: Newport has all the potentials to be the focal city of Wales economically, socially and educationally. Currently all the resources, whether financial or human resources, are mismanaged by all the involved organisations.
By providing justice for all, high or low, in words and actions, saved wastage of resources will be used for everyone's advantage, and not only a chosen few, elders are sources of wisdom and moral security.
Youngsters are the fresh blood of society. At the present the current political and social set-up of the country is disrespecting our elders and misusing our fresh flowers.
I will campaign for quality care for both. We need IT-based round-the-clock Internet pools with in-house e-learning set-ups. I will introduce educational camps where our youth will learn social discipline and respect combined with other social skills in a fun and morally clean and positive atmosphere. Increasing access to moral sources of other cultures, and reducing opportunities for dishonesty will provide fairness in family and social interactions which will lead to justice in society. I will campaign for all these.
To hear my views in full and share your concerns or views with me I invite you to attend my public meetings this Thursday, April 28, and Saturday, April 30, from 6pm to 8pm at Newport YMCA at Mendalgief Road, NP9 2HP (tel: 01633 266872).
