COUNTRY and western gal Elkie Brooks is back for more thigh-slapping tunes and plenty of yee-ha.
She's in Theatr Brycheiniog, Brecon, on Saturday, April 23, for an evening of her music.
Her fans include Alice Cooper, with whom she dueted in 1986 on Only Women Bleed on her No More The Fool album.
Favourite show pieces include Lilac Wine, Nights In White Satin, and Take Me For a Little While.
Elkie says that if she were not a singer she would be in teaching: "Possibly in domestic science, as I love cooking, or maybe PE." she says. "I would also have liked to have gone to RADA." Dial 01874 611622 for more info.
