RENAULT'S distinctive Megane family continues to top Europe's best sellers chart and now the range's appeal looks set to grow even fjurther with the launch of two new summer special editions, Megane Oasis and Scenic Maxim, emphasising style and value for money, with prices starting at £10,995 after customer saving of £1,035 and order books open immediately.
During recent months a myriad of new and revised medium sized cars have appeared on UK roads, so to ensure that the Megane range continues to be one of the best-sellers in the market's most competitive sector, Renault has created two new special editions for two types of customer.
The first, Megane Oasis, costs just £300 more than the current mid-range Expression model, yet offers sparkling value for money with its comprehensive range of equipment, enahanced by £1,250 worth of additional equipment.
In addition to equipment like 60W CD-RDS radio, air conditioning, automatic headlamps and windscreen wipers, the Oasis models also boast specific pieces of equipment which are traditionally reserved for much higher specification models, panoramic glass sunroof (single on Sport Saloon), insurance approved alarm (Thatcham Category 1) and Hands-Free Renault Card with electrically, heated folding door mirrors.
Customers wishing to turn their car interior into even greater oasis of calm can choose from several interior options like cruise control with speed limiter and pre-telephone equipment, as well as the ability to add aesthetic and safety features like alloy wheels, ESP and ASR traction control and CSV understeer control, metallic paint and tyre pressure monitor.
