THE deputy prime minister yesterday faced students from Croesyceiliog School who will vote for the first time in May.
He was quizzed on a range of subjects by the teenagers. Mr Prescott even joked about his ill-fated visit to North Wales in 2001 when someone threw an egg at him. Last time I was here I was always ducking," he said.
"I am Welsh by birth. I used to get a welcome in the hillside until that man threw eggs at me."
He attacked the Lib Dems over local income tax and accused the Conservatives of hypocrisy.
