DON'T talk to Wales captain Michael Owen about instant recognition after the team's Grand Slam achievement.
For it really was back down to earth with a bump when he reported for duty with Newport Gwent Dragons this week.
The number eight popped around the corner from the club to get some sandwiches for his Dragons team-mates, and the owner told him he'd had a brilliant Saturday and Owen replied that it had been fantastic.
"He then asked me, 'Where did you watch the game from?' I told him I was playing, thinking I'd get free rolls, but he still didn't give them to me so I was gutted," said Owen.
"But he did ask, 'Who are you?' I said, 'Michael Owen', and he said he recognised me.
"Exactly the same thing happened at the chip shop near where I live, the night before.
"If I'd had a scrum cap on it might have been all right, but I'd rather be incognito. It makes life a bit easier."
